The rain and the cab

Woohoo. Asked her to join me for supper last night, and I was rewarded with lunch today.

sel.: hmm okie! good. u can call me along if u want lunch then! i'm gg to sleep alr.. night! enjoy ur soup yeah.

Yep, I enjoyed the soup. So I ended up going with her to Fong Seng for lunch. Not that glamorous, but well, I'm satisfied. Bought the lousy duck noodles but for once it didn't taste that bad lor. The sad thing was that it started raining when we were near the place. Considering that she wanted a quick lunch, that was bad news... utterly bad news.

But so far all ended well with us sharing a cab back to hall. Hope she doesn't fall sick. As to our conversation over lunch. Its my personal secret. Hah!

Friendster

Its good walk look back through life and at the freinds u were once closed to... BUT NOT WHEN U HAVE 30hrs TO YOUR FIRST EXAM!! Can't be helped though. Done my studying with my close friends, then I have been trying to get some sleep since 3hrs ago, but no... my body refuses to go to sleep. What is worse is that I start thinking about Minyi. Yes. Somebody who I've not thought of for ages. Is she still my girlfriend? Anyway, was thinking how bad I was to her, so I decided to check whether she mentioned and unhappy things onine. So well, I ended up in friendster. Worse still, ended up reminiscing the old times. Saw the gigantice testimonial I wrote for her, felt my heart skipped a beat and tears nearly roll from my eyes. How I wished things remained the same. But, everything is changing. Can't help it.

As I walked down memory lane, I visited the sites of all my Jc friends, secondary friends, Minyi's friends, Band, primary school friends... Now I know why we keep photo albums. Memories are really nice to keep. Both the good ones and the bad ones. Life is really not always about looking into the future u know? Sometimes its nice to keep tabs with old friends, check out how your ex-buddies are doing, enjoy the present company and stuff. Hmm... getting emotional here.

Anyway, saw how my cousin is no more the boy I always thought he was. Man... he's 18, quite handsome and way taller than me already. Juniors in band I've always thought were cute and innocent are now fully grown adults. Some of them looking really good, even like celebrities. Looked back at some of my old friends, and so like me, they've grown. New bad habits like smoking, clubbing. Some moved overseas, some are hot, some are already working. It was after this long reflection that I once again realised that I'm already 21. A full-fledged adult. From now on, we only age. Am I gonna let my last burst of youth fly past me by just studying in university? I always tease my close friend who likes using the phrase "forever 20" though she has clearly turned 21, but don't I also want time to stop. The answer is so clear. Yeh...

I must really grow up and feel 21 before I proceed to my 22nd birthday. I really want to meet my old aquaintances to see how they've really grown. Its nice to see them once again. But for now, back to my evil looking books. Stupid books, stop mocking me... grrr...

Exam stress

I can't really say that I'm studying really hard, but the books are really getting to me. I was checking out my friend's blog, then i saw a link on the top which says next blog. Why not check it out? So there i go, 1hour worth of scrutinising other boggers' possessions. Now, I know I should be studying, but come on, there's so much interesting things to read. i'm addicted. Anyway, I realised that those blogs are really matured and informative. I mean, each of their entry is enriching and simply resembles mini-GP essays. They discuss world matters and current affairs. Nice. Good perspectives there, compared to my daily complaints and comments on events.

hehe, that does not mean that I don't like my blog though. Well, I've got this bunch of guys who kept teasing me about her. Yes, she was standing in front of me in the dinner queue. Thought that she might be upset from all the commotion, but hey, she actually took my utensils for me. Whoowee!

RAINING

It's raining cats and dogs outside. Damn, why is it that everytime I want to go and collect my iskin, it starts pouring? Geez... Anyway, we're gonna have a good luck supper, so its back to the kitchen later. I'm gonna get my shirt stinky and shmelly later.

Last night, we were practising our good luck song in Aaron's room, it was lotsa laughter and fun. I think the bunch of people are damn nice. We sang the carlsberg song, the whole song. Never knew that such a version existed. Man, I think my ex is bored. She doesn't seem to be able to get over me. I sms her once just now to ask about her exams and she returned multiple smses one shot. Now I dunno whether I should ignore her? Would that help with her A levels if I ignore her. Girls are bothersome. But guys can't do without them yar?

Cats

When I came back from lessons, I saw a kitten abandoned in the RAG area. The poor blind thing was yelping away and trying to move in vain. I took it back and realised that it was damn hard to nurse it, so after it made alot of noise, I finally threw it back to the rag area, box and all. Just now, I was gonna grab some milk for it from the supermarket, but as I walked towards my bike, I spotted a black cat and white cat headed in the same direction. One was gnarling at the other. Anyway, as I walked towards where I placed the kitten, the black one suddenly made a sprint for the kitten, grabbed it in her mouth and went on to hide in a hidden corner. Well, I guess the mom wants back her kid and I was in no position to stop it ya? Cats... totally can't decipher what they're thinking.

Sounds familiar?
